In an idyllic setting on the shores of Lake Windermere, Cragwood Country House Hotel is a gorgeous location for celebrations of all sizes and styles. Capturing weddings in the Lake District allows me to photograph your day with a spectacular background, and working as a Cragwood Hotel wedding photographer never disappoints!
The Victorian building is set in picturesque gardens, with a private jetty so you can whisk your guests away on a mid-wedding lake cruise, before returning to the hotel for a delicious feast. Up to 80 guests can join you for your ceremony, and 120 for the evening party so there’s plenty of space to invite the whole gang! Equally, it’s an ideal venue for an intimate gathering or elopement in a magical location, with cosy spaces, and even a dedicated ‘Just Us’ wedding package.
Amy and Mark were looking for relaxed and unstaged photos of their wedding at Cragwood Country House Hotel (with a couple of important family group photos to be captured as quickly and painlessly as possible!). After finding me on Instagram, they were keen to chat and start making some plans for capturing their day in my signature style as their Cragwood Hotel wedding photographer.
With a boat trip planned for after their wedding breakfast, they’d made sure everyone had the chance to explore the stunning surroundings of their venue from the best viewpoint on the water. It was a beautiful day, filled with emotion, laughter and love, and it was a total blast to be part of!
