In case you’re only going to read the first few sentences: just go book Phil. Now. Like immediately! All of our family and friends loved Phil. It genuinely felt like having another friend there celebrating with us, while also knowing we were in the hands of an incredibly talented professional.Now onto the photos… I don’t have an adjective strong enough to describe how incredible they are. They are WOW! Not just because they’re of our wedding day, but because they are truly breathtaking. Perfectly composed, full of emotion, and so beautifully crafted that it feels like we’re in our own magazine spread. I cannot wait to get some of them up on our walls. Phil curated the gallery so that it perfectly retells the story of our wedding day.

We knew of Phil because he'd photographed our friends' wedding and we loved his style, but because we were having a destination wedding we weren't sure if it would be possible or affordable to fly a photographer out to Italy. However, from our first call with Phil we were sure he was the right photographer for us and far more affordable than we were expecting for an award-winning photographer of his standard - in a foreign country! The photography - where to begin! Phil and Melissa captured every moment. Every bit of joy, every tear, and every crazy dance move. They photographed far more than we expected and as a result we have the most incredible visual story of our wedding which we will treasure forever.

When we initially reached out in the search for our wedding photographer, a few people emailed back - but Phil was the only person to pick up the phone, on a Tuesday morning and say “Hi, I really wanted to speak to you…” and from that moment it was meant to be. Sorry, Phil… it sounds like the beginning of a love story, but it basically is! Phil was the greatest investment of our entire day. Some suppliers are professional, they show up, they get the job done - but Phil is NEXT LEVEL! He didn’t just show up, he invested himself, he immersed himself and it was like having a friend with us throughout the whole day who just happens to capture frickin’ spectacular photographs. If you don’t immediately book him for your wedding then I’m sad for you because you’ll be missing out on the greatest opportunity EVER. I wish we could hire Phil to document our lives - we would recommend him to everyone! Over and over.

Where to start!? TLDR: book Phil immediately as your photographer - you will be nothing short of delighted! Phil is the most fun to be around, I barely noticed he was taking pics (again, hate photos of myself so was concerned about having a camera in my face - not once did I notice it). We actually felt like he was a guest. He made us laugh so much whilst getting ready in the morning; we were so at ease with him and it meant we entered the venue relaxed, happy, and excited. Post wedding: Phil called me one morning - I genuinely thought it was an accidental dial. But he had called to share that our gallery was ready. This was genuinely such a lovely, unexpected touch and pretty much sums him up as someone who consistently goes above and beyond, delighting and surprising his clients. He gave really good tips on how to view the gallery for the best experience which ended up making an entire day of pure joy.The photos are INSANELY good and when I think back to that first call, he must have soaked up every bit of my erratic chat because he captured everything we discussed, at the most incredible quality. We have since shared pics with guests and every single comment has been how he managed to capture the spirit of the event.

Phil was not only incredibly friendly but also unexpectedly helpful in so many ways! He has this amazing ability to blend seamlessly into the day so you hardly notice he’s there, yet he’s always right there when you need him. If there’s one decision you won’t regret for your wedding, it’s booking Phil to capture your photos ❤️

Phil has been absolutely incredible from start to finish, we could not recommend him enough. I knew as soon as I found Phil on Instagram that his ability to document and tell a story was exactly what I was after. Whilst the photos of our day are everything we dreamed of, the best thing about Phil was that he was so much more than a photographer at our wedding; he gave us advice over 2 years from our engagement up to our big day, gave us recommendations of suppliers, hooked us up with a DJ, had so many laughs at our pre shoot, took so much time to get to know us and to understand our day, was a total cheerleader whilst I was getting my hair and make up prepped, distracted my husband whilst he was nervous waiting at the end of the aisle, made all our guests laugh throughout a long day, got on the dance floor, and finally finishing the night with shots at the bar. We feel like we have made a friend! A huge huge thank you for everything you have done and such incredibly memories you have captured.

Phil was just amazing from the minute we met. I was the wedding coordinator at the wedding we just did this Summer. He was so professional and friendly. I would absolutely love to work with him again. I have also just seen all the stunning photos. Perfect!

From our first meeting almost a year before the wedding, he made us feel so comfortable and confident that we were in great hands.
